Overview
The SVP, Operations Director is a client-facing role within the client production team who defines and runs the operating model across technology, asset management, creative workflows. This person will establish ways of working, shape project management tooling and process, and ensure teams are set up to deliver efficiently across functions. The role requires a holistic operator who can connect systems, workflows, and cross-functional execution, and will be the connecting glue across multiple teams and disciplines.

Compensation Range: $157,200 - $228,928 per year. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Responsibilities
- Client Service (Operational Tier): Daily counterpart to client ops; run weekly ops reviews/SLA check-ins/QBR-style ops readouts; ensure transparent dashboards and responsiveness; capture feedback and drive corrective actions
- Cross-Functional Agency Integration: Responsible for leading relationship with key agencies and production partners within a highly matrixed environment
- Technology: Serve as a bridge between client needs and our technical teams by partnering with the Product Success Manager and other key stakeholders.
- PMO & Governance: Implement intake-scope-plan-execute-QA-release-archive workflows; manage change control, RAID, dependencies, calendars, and operating cadences
- Capacity & Staffing: Forecast demand; allocate PMs/producers/coordinators; manage utilization, coverage, and follow-the-sun models; surface constraints with options/impacts
- Tooling & data - own tool stack for the region; ensure data quality and version control; publish operational dashboards
- Operational Finance (Delivery-Only): Track estimate-to-actuals, burn, schedule variance, and change orders; provide reconciliations and variance narratives with IPA/finance
- Issue Management & Enablement: Triage blockers; coordinate recoveries with the Executive Producer; document/close corrective actions; lead retrospectives; embed improvements into SOPs/playbooks
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure approvals, brand/legal/safety, data/privacy, and vendor onboarding controls; maintain documentation readiness
- Continuous Improvement: Localize playbooks; champion automation/templates; optimize handoffs and cadences to reduce cycle time
- Onboarding / Team Training: Ensure full team is onboarded cleanly, effectively and efficiently; manage ongoing training and learning
- Integrate AI-driven tools into creative and production processes to boost efficiency, elevate content quality, and stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and storytelling
- 10 years’ experience in program/project management or client/production operations in multi-market environments
- Prior experience building and maintaining relationships with key agencies and senior client stakeholders
- PM/Workflow: Highly skilled in workflow tools such as Asana/Jira/Smartsheet (or equivalents), familiar with delivery practices to enable and support production and project management efficiencies
- Data and Dashboarding: Proficiency with distilling dashboard information into actionable / client insights
- Change Management: Previous experience with large scale change management initiatives, ensuring regional adherence to processes and workflows; but able to design custom as needed
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
