We are seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer to join our Grid Modernization team at PNM. This full-time, on-site role in Albuquerque, NM, involves designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems to support the company’s critical operations. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting network issues, working with VoIP systems, providing advanced technical support, and contributing expertise to the design and optimization of network solutions. Additionally, the Senior Telecom Engineer will collaborate with internal teams to ensure robust and reliable telecommunications infrastructure.
- Expertise in Telecommunications Systems and Network Design
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and providing advanced Technical Support
- Experience with Voice over IP (VoIP) systems implementation and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in telecommunications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus
- Experience working in the utilities or energy sector is an advantage
