What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-Term Substitute Teacher-Special Education position at Public Schools of Petoskey - Sheridan Elementary?
Primary Function:
- To provide instruction in subject-matter, helping students to develop skills that will contribute to their growth and employment as mature, able, and responsible citizens.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate or Must be eligible for a Michigan substitute permit through the Michigan Department of Education (minimum 60 credit hours from a regionally accredited college/university)
- Such alternatives beyond the above qualifications as the board of education deems appropriate and acceptable

- Days 1-10: $18.47/hour
- Days 11 : $37.43/hour
