K-8 LAHB TEACHER, ESY PROGRAM
POSITION OVERVIEW
To plan and provide instruction to students with language-based learning disabilities who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills and information per IEP
- Supervision of paraprofessionals
- Coordination of related service support
- Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers during ESY and via progress notes at the end of the program
- Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mass DESE Mod. Disabilities, Prek-8, certification required
- Wilson, and/or Orton Gillingham, and/or LiPS certification required
- Teaching Experience for Students with Learning Disabilities/Language-Based Learning Disabilities
Schedule:
- July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026
- 9:00 - 12:00, Monday - Thursday
- Additional 1-2 days of training prior to start of program
- Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
