K-8 LAHB TEACHER, ESY PROGRAM

POSITION OVERVIEW

To plan and provide instruction to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills and information per IEP
• Supervision of paraprofessionals
• Coordination of related service support
• Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers
• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED:

• Mass DESE Mod. Disabilities, Prek-8, certification required

• Wilson, and/or Orton Gillingham, and/or LiPS certification required

• Teaching Experience for Students with Learning Disabilities/Language-Based Learning Disabilities

Schedule:

• July 8, 2024 - August 1, 2024
• 9:00 - 12:00, Monday - Thursday
• Additional 1-2 days of training prior to start of program
• Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
