Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Base commission on inspector signups
Schedule: Monday–Friday, [9 AM–5 PM], with occasional evening calls
Get out of the crawlspace. Keep the expertise.
HomeInspections.com is building the platform independent home inspectors use to run and grow their businesses — scheduling, reporting, referral tools, and a demand engine built on realtor and insurance-agent relationships.
We're hiring a licensed Florida home inspector who's ready to trade the ladder and the attic for a desk, a headset, and a career path. You won't be inspecting houses. You'll be the person other inspectors talk to when they're deciding whether to build their business on our platform — and the reason they say yes.
This is the right move if you know the trade cold, you're good with people, and you've started thinking about what the next twenty years look like off the roof.
What you'll actually do
- Co-host live webinars alongside our founder — you're the credible voice in the room, the one who's carried the tools and can answer a question about E&O, WDO, or 4-point in real time.
- Call every applicant fast. New inspectors come in through our recruiting funnel daily. You reach out within minutes, not days, and get them on the calendar.
- Set appointments and keep the calendar full for yourself and the team.
- Run one-on-one consultations with interested inspectors — understand their business, where they're stuck, and walk them through how the platform fits.
- Nurture the pipeline. Follow up with webinar attendees who didn't sign up, keep warm leads warm, and work the list with discipline.
- Onboard new inspectors and hand them off set up for success.
- Feed the product team. You'll hear every objection and every wish-list item. We want that intel.
What you need
- Active Florida home inspector license (DBPR HI) — required, non-negotiable. This role only works if you've done the job.
- Real field experience — you can talk shop with a 15-year veteran and a brand-new licensee in the same afternoon.
- Comfortable on the phone and on camera. You'll be on a lot of both.
- Organized enough to work a CRM and follow up without being reminded.
- Located in or near Sarasota and able to work from our office.
Nice to have
- Any sales, recruiting, training, or customer success experience
- You've run your own inspection business
- Experience with inspection software, CRMs, or Zoom webinars
- Relationships in the Florida inspection community
What we offer
- Base salary uncapped commission — earn more when inspectors succeed]
- Health / dental / vision
- 10 Days of PTO and 5 Holidays
- Direct mentorship from the founder — you're being trained into this role, not thrown into it
- Growth into a leadership seat as the inspector network scales
- A desk, air conditioning, and no more attics in July
Apply now. If your license is active and you're ready for a career off the ladder, we'll call you.
