Staffing Business Development Manager

Job Source USA is looking for a driven Business Development Manager who knows how to open doors, build trust, and turn conversations into long-term staffing partnerships.

This is not an order-taking sales position. We need someone who is comfortable prospecting, meeting with decision-makers, learning a client’s operation, and working with our recruiting team to deliver what was promised.
 

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the Omaha and surrounding markets
• Make outbound calls, conduct client visits, network, and build a strong sales pipeline
• Connect with business owners, HR leaders, operations managers, and other decision-makers
• Lead discovery meetings to understand staffing challenges, workforce needs, pay rates, schedules, and hiring goals
• Present customized staffing solutions, pricing, and service agreements
• Develop new temporary, temp-to-hire, direct-hire, and workforce partnership opportunities
• Maintain accurate sales activity, prospect notes, and follow-up commitments
• Partner closely with recruiters and operations to ensure a smooth client launch
• Stay involved after the sale and help strengthen each client relationship
• Monitor market conditions, local hiring demand, competitor activity, and pay trends

• Previous business development or outside sales experience
• Staffing industry experience is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business
• Comfortable making cold calls and meeting prospects face-to-face
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to ask good questions, listen carefully, and recommend practical solutions
• Self-motivated and accountable without needing constant supervision
• Comfortable using CRM systems, LinkedIn, email, and other sales tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• A healthy pipeline with clear next steps
• New discovery meetings and qualified opportunities
• New accounts that fit our recruiting capabilities
• Strong communication with clients and the internal team
• Relationships that continue after the agreement is signed

Competitive base salary plus commission and performance incentives. Final compensation will be based on staffing sales experience, existing market relationships, and demonstrated results.
