Colorado Public Radio (CPR) is seeking an Associate IT Support Analyst.

About the Position:

The Associate IT Support Analyst provides front-line technical support for CPR’s day-to-day technology needs, including desktops, laptops, phones, and basic network connectivity. This position serves as a first point of contact for technology support requests, responding to tickets and calls, troubleshooting issues, determining priority, and resolving routine technical problems. When an issue requires additional expertise, this position works with more senior technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. This role helps ensure CPR’s technology is reliable and functional, so staff can do their work most effectively.

The new hire is expected to reside in the Denver Metro upon starting - this is not a remote position. This position’s schedule is Monday through Friday with on-call hours each month and some evening or weekend work for patches and updates. This position will work in-facility at our offices in Centennial, Colorado.

About You:

You approach your work with curiosity, a desire to learn, and an openness to new approaches. You communicate clearly, kindly, and patiently with users of varying technical abilities, adapting your approach to provide a supportive experience. You’re a thoughtful troubleshooter who looks for root causes rather than quick fixes and balances user needs with organizational policies and security. You work with humility and respect, recognize your own knowledge gaps, and are comfortable asking for support when needed. You’re self-motivated and able to prioritize competing needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience providing help desk or technical support to both in-person and remote users in a Windows environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to support users with varying levels of technical expertise.

  • Experience using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products.

  • Familiarity with Windows systems in a domain network environment.

  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking principles, network cabling, Wi-Fi, and basic network troubleshooting.

  • Experience documenting technical issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.

Education Equivalency:

  • A fully relatable bachelor’s or master’s degree may replace some of the required years of experience needed to qualify for the position, but is not required for the role.

Even if you don’t meet every qualification listed, we’re interested in candidates who can bring unique skills, perspectives, and experiences to the role. At Colorado Public Radio, we are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, equitable and authentic workplace. If you're excited about this role, but your past experience doesn't perfectly align with every qualification in the job posting, we encourage you to apply as you may be the right candidate for this or other roles with us.

Benefits:

Colorado Public Radio is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package that reflects our culture of caring. Our employees have access to: 100 percent employer paid individual health, life, and disability coverage; an outstanding paid family medical leave policy plus paid holidays and a very generous sick, vacation, and personal time off plan; voluntary offerings such as dental and vision; a competitive retirement plan match with no waiting or vesting periods; flexible schedules; engagement and development opportunities; and a casual atmosphere.
