The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative, organizational, and operational support to the Development Department and the Friends of Public Radio AZ. This position serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and helps ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of the department. The position manages calendars, communications, scheduling, special projects, board-related activities, donor correspondence, and office workflows while maintaining strict confidentiality. This role requires excellent judgment, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced nonprofit environment dedicated to supporting public radio.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years varied and increasingly responsible office and/or administrative support experience, similar to work described above, of which a minimum of 1 year experience includes supporting an executive level position.
Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, preferably supporting senior leadership or executives.
B. Two (2) years experience utilizing a customer database system for the purposes of tracking donor/client activity
C. Two (2) years experience preparing meeting agendas, board materials, minutes and executive level correspondence.
