Quality Control Inspector

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
• Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
• Engage with the General Contractor’s Quality Assurance Manager for inspection planning, project compliance, non-conformance management, quality audits.
• Attend weekly project update meetings with the project group including upcoming activities, status and deadlines.
• Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision of whether to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor.
• Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.
• Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
• Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities.
• Prepares and presents technical and program information to team members and management.
• Directs technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of QA/QC in conjunction with the project team.

Qualifications:

• Seeking at least 5 years of experience in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, and/or other similar fields.
• Strong expertise in High Purity Piping, Orbital Welding, and Clean Room Inspections.
• Current certification in accordance with AWS as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
• Excellent time management and written and spoken communication skills, highly professional, organized, and trustworthy team player.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and be able to pass a background check and a drug screening.
