What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piping Designer II position at PTS Advance?
PTS Advance is looking for a looking for a local Piping designer for a project that is located in Billings Montana. The job will start mid Sept. and last until Sept 2026 or longer.
- Set to start Mid to late September
- Pay rate up to $60 hr.
- 10 days PTO
- Medical/dental/vision/401K
- Local candidates only
- No per diem
Minimum 5 years of experience in Piping Design. In depth knowledge of Piping standards, methods, and practices including P66 REP standards. Must be fluent in AutoCAD. Experience with utilizing 3D modeling and point cloud workflows. Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment. Must be able to perform field walks. Must be able to work both individually and on a team. Strong work ethic. Strong communication skills.
Creating and revising Piping drawings throughout the design and MOC process. Managing workflow and working priorities as identified. Tracking and reporting progress. Assembling Piping design packages to be utilized for construction purposes Providing design assistance throughout all phases of projects.
Must have the ability to pass a background check and a drug test.
