What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Operations Coordinator position at PTS Advance?
We’re hiring an HR & Site Operations Coordinator based in Glendale, CA. This is a long-term contract opportunity with potential for conversion to a direct role.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Support & Compliance:
- Assist with payroll accuracy, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Coordinate and support new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
- Support leaves of absence and benefits inquiries.
- Support HR audits and reporting requirements.
Purchasing & Procurement:
- Handle purchasing and procurement for site departments.
- Purchase supplies for Production, Planning, Packaging, Warehouse, and Receiving departments.
- Enter purchase orders into Ariba and ensure timely follow-up and liaison with vendors and corporate buyers.
- Support SAP/Ariba queries from site personnel and assist with purchases.
Production & Site Coordination:
- Organize site or department events.
- Coordinate the logistics for site events, including team-building activities, training sessions, and other departmental events.
- Organize birthday celebrations and other special events for employees.
- Maintain inventory and support general site needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of HR support experience combined with strong administrative skills.
- Experience with procurement systems such as SAP or Ariba.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Salary : $38 - $50
