We are seeking a motivated Electrical CAD Technician to support our engineering and design teams in developing high-quality drafting and design solutions for utility and electrical infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional who enjoys collaborating with engineers, designers, and technical teams while contributing to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineers, designers, and detailers with computer-aided drafting and design solutions.
• Support a full range of drawing production activities from project kickoff through completion.
• Produce accurate project deliverables while maintaining schedule and budget requirements.
• Create, modify, and maintain CAD drawings and project documentation.
• Print, scan, organize, and submit drawing packages.
• Maintain proficiency with current CAD systems and industry software.
• Utilize multiple software applications to support project execution.
• Review and adhere to project scope, schedules, budgets, and client requirements.
• Identify priority tasks and execute work plans effectively.
• Communicate workload status and project updates with management and team members.
• Maintain compliance with company and client CAD standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve project quality and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Coursework in Drafting Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CAD Designer or Drafter.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
• Electrical Design
• Distribution Design
• Overhead Electric Design
• GIS Design
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:

• DDS (Distribution Design Studio)
• AUD
• GE Smallworld
• ArcFM
• Boud
• Storms
• Crews
