Job Overview:
The primary role of the Workforce Management Specialist is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test and implement database systems, and apply knowledge of database management systems. This position involves planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases. The role also includes responsibilities related to workforce management, data auditing, and ensuring data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of databases to management systems or direct others in coding descriptions.
- Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy in employee systems of record and organizational tools.
- Ensure standard position titles match and identify frozen/locked PIDs for review with the Workforce Strategy team.
- Assist in releasing PIDs from reserve to teams and track these releases.
- Support movement in and out of the IDC Reserve by making organizational tool changes.
- Update PID release status reports on headcount needs.
- Manage team Wiki communications, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.
- Triage incoming requests, assign approval workflows, and ensure tickets are closed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Workforce Strategy Team to troubleshoot complex requests.
- Bachelor's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.
- 2 years of experience working with employee and position data and tools.
- Experience auditing data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Proficiency in G-Suite and database management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in workforce planning and position management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data visualization and document version control.

Pay Range: $40 - $50/hour on W2
