Job Responsibilities
- Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of the database to the management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
- Employee System of Record (OrgTool) Audits & Position (PID) releases.
- OrgTool Auditing & Data Integrity.
- Ensuring standard position titles match.
- Identifying frozen/locked PIDs released to pillar teams and reviewing with the Workforce Strategy team.
- Conducting a review on backfill PIDs released to pillar teams and whether we need to absorb them back into Reserve (depending on backfill strategy).
- Ensuring official Job Descriptions are the ones being used for hire.
- Identifying PIDs without a requisition attached to PID releases.
- Help with the release of PIDs from reserve to teams and track these releases.
- Support movement in and out of the IDC Reserve by making OrgTool changes.
- Pull OrgTool exports when needed.
- Work with partner teams to help unblock PIDs if there are any roadblocks.
- Update PID release status reports on headcount needs (Field/Central) IDC PID tool.
- Triage all incoming requests and assign approval workflows, ensuring tickets are closed out within a reasonable time.
- Update PID attributes to reflect the requested changes if approved.
- Work with the Workforce Strategy Team on troubleshooting complex requests.
- Team Wiki Comms Management.
- Help update and maintain the team Wiki with accurate and up-to-date content periodically.
- Assist in content development for Wiki pages.
- Ensures all content is updated and relevant, removing outdated or unnecessary information.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Basic knowledge of database management software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex organizational structures.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and systems (e.g., OrgTool, GSD).
- Previous experience working in an HR capacity (workforce planning)
- Proficiency in GSuite some level of position management experience.
- Data entry experience, Database management, and data visualization.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Workforce management system experience.
- File management and document version control.
- Bachelor's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.
- Workforce Management Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with employee and position data and tools.
- Experience auditing data to ensure it is complete and accurate, data entry, navigating people systems, and working with Hiring Managers' Compliance requirements.
