Job Overview:

At Regions, the Software Engineer IV oversees the application development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This position ensures system applications run smoothly, monitors their performance, and creates reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions. The role is part of the Technology department and involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the effective functioning of systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software.
• Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques for improved operations.
• Install and configure systems and other software.
• Test installed software for malfunction detection.
• Identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Design and deploy new applications and enhance existing application software and operating systems.
• Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve systems.
• Monitor and test system performance.
• Oversee the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency.
• Maintain full ownership of a process and may act as a procedural expert.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Seven (7) years of experience in a related role.
• Ability to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve common objectives.
• Proficiency in conducting system analysis to detect performance issues.
• Capability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization, and software debugging.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware computing systems, and their integration.

Pay Range: $75 - $80/hr. W2
