Senior Product Designer - Native Apps

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of intuitive, accessible, and high-quality native mobile experiences across iOS and Android. This role will work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to define product strategy, translate customer needs into thoughtful experiences, and deliver solutions from concept through launch.

The ideal candidate is a strong end-to-end product designer with experience designing native mobile applications, a deep understanding of iOS and Android design patterns, and a passion for creating simple, meaningful experiences for users.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product design process, including discovery, research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, visual design, and implementation support.
• Design user experience for native iOS and Android applications while following Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design principles.
• Translate complex business requirements and user needs into clear, intuitive, and scalable mobile experiences.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, content designers, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
• Contribute to and evolve mobile design systems, reusable components, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards.
• Conduct and incorporate user research, usability testing, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.
• Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership, clearly explaining design decisions and tradeoffs.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure design quality, functionality, and consistency through development and launch.
• Review implemented experiences and provide feedback to ensure the final product reflects the intended design.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data, product analytics, and customer insights to identify opportunities and measure the effectiveness of design solutions.
• Advocate for the user while balancing business objectives, technical constraints, timelines, and platform requirements.
• Help establish and improve design processes, standards, and best practices across the product organization.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in product design, UX design, interaction design, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing native mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end mobile product design experience and measurable business or customer impact.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines, navigation patterns, mobile interactions, and responsive layouts.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and design specifications.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and accessibility.
• Experience working in an Agile or cross-functional product development environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make informed design decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for large-scale or enterprise mobile applications.
• Experience working with mobile design systems and shared component libraries.
• Familiarity with native development concepts and collaboration with iOS and Android engineers.
• Experience with analytics tools, A/B testing, experimentation, and data-informed design.
• Experience conducting usability studies, customer interviews, and moderated or unmoderated research.
• Knowledge of WCAG, mobile accessibility standards, and inclusive design practices.
• Experience designing products that integrate with APIs, location services, notifications, payments, authentication, or other mobile capabilities.
• Experience contributing to product strategy and roadmap planning.
