Job Description:

• Develop and maintain financial software applications.
• Work closely with the finance team to understand their needs and translate them into functional software.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
• 8 to 10 years.

Responsibilities:

• Own the design and development of backend services and governance as code solutions.
• Build APIs to integrate model metadata, lineage, and approvals with enterprise governance systems.
• Develop integrations for monitoring, scanning, and model endpoint APIs.
• Support dashboards and backend services for Model Performance Management (MPM) and auditability.
• Implement secure, scalable integration patterns across AWS services.
• Partner with platform, governance, and engineering teams to ensure high quality, compliant integrations.

Required Skills:

• Full Stack Developer with a strong understanding of both frontend and backend development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in modeling and analytics.
• Strong preference for a Python-focused developer.
• Hands-on experience developing Python-based utilities and integration solutions (e.g., FastAPI).
• Balanced experience in Python scripting and full-scale Python application development.
• Experience working with Python and R tools/libraries.
• Background in Data Science and Machine Learning environments.
• Experience integrating with AWS services
• Ability to design and integrate APIs effectively using Rest API/ GraphQL API
• Someone who worked in a financial services company is helpful

Pay Range: $60 - $75/hour on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
