Job Description:
- Summary: Creates, designs and executes graphics projects, including printed and electronically generated materials.
- Works from general guidelines utilizing considerable skill and judgment regarding composition and media selection.
- Utilizes a wide variety of graphics production equipment and supplies including personal computer and desktop publishing/graphics software.
Responsibilities: Designs, develops, produces and prepares a variety of creative print graphics from general instructions.
- Responsible for project management of graphics design initiatives.
- May participate in SBU brand imaging and the image SBU communications.
- Participates in the development of templates for collateral and creation of original designs.
- Implements corporate or SBU identity standards.
- May participate in web graphics initiatives.
- Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, as well as at least 4 years of experience in graphic design.
- Some familiarity with brand management and corporate identity work preferred.
- Working knowledge of graphic software programs.
- Experience interacting independently with commercial printers, freelancers and other suppliers.
