Job Overview:

The Engineering Analyst II will play a critical role in providing essential data to the construction manager to support business decisions related to the capital plan. This position requires interfacing with multiple systems to consolidate and present information effectively. The role also involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders who depend on construction data to make informed decisions regarding KPIs for safety and contractor performance. This is an onsite role, and candidates must live locally in the Providence, RI area. Travel to local warehouses will be required.

Responsibilities:

• Organize, consolidate, and present input collected by the construction team in regular reports.
• Provide tracking for functional job components.
• Pull data and analytics from Safety Culture to create dashboards or reports for construction and restoration activities.
• Generate reports for the Resource Planning organization to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Create dashboards for managing contractor performance, comparisons, tracking, and safety metrics.
• Enter accounting data for contractor invoices.
• Assist construction supervisors in work package processing and tracking.

• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong background in Excel is required.
• Experience with GIS usage is preferred.
• Familiarity with PowerBI is a nice-to-have.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand business objectives, make cost-benefit assessments, and think critically.
• Proficiency in software and computer applications.

Pay Range: $45 - $50/hr. W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
