Job Overview:

This position is for a DevOps Engineer supporting a mission-critical application. The role involves working as part of a team responsible for leading large and complex business initiatives while delivering a best-in-class customer experience. The selected candidate will handle DevOps functions for multiple projects, including enterprise and maintenance releases, while adhering to Agile methodologies and ensuring security compliance with enterprise standards. The role also includes monitoring security vulnerabilities and tracking fixes for reported issues.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain application servers and processes, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
• Work on digital transformation initiatives and modernize applications using new technologies.
• Collaborate on complex systems using microservices architecture and large databases.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with multiple teams.
  

• 6 years of experience with microservices-based applications using Spring Boot within a Kubernetes environment.
• 6 years of experience with cloud and database technologies (Oracle Cloud is a plus).
• 3 years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters, Docker, and containerization technologies.
• 3 years of experience in a cloud environment, preferably Oracle Cloud.
• Experience working in an Agile environment with CI/CD-driven development culture.
• 3 years of experience with Tomcat.
• 3 years of experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• 3 years of experience with DevOps tools such as GIT/Stash, Fortify, and Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, including reviewing and tuning complex SQL queries.
• Exposure to AI tools and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  

• Working knowledge of Kafka and IBM MQ.
• Familiarity with JSON and Camel.
• Experience with APIGEE.
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10 years of application development and technology experience.

Pay Range: $60hr - 65hr on w2
