Job Overview:

We are seeking an expert in Core Java with a strong background in design techniques and experience working across large-scale environments with multiple operating systems and infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled, with expertise across the software development lifecycle and toolsets. They should be recognized as a leader in Agile methodologies and have a strong understanding of modern development techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, and security. The candidate will stay updated on cutting-edge technologies and trends, applying them to support business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond conventional approaches to build solutions or resolve technical problems.
• Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
  

• Expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs, Kafka, Cassandra, AWS, and AI.
• Experience in application development and system design.
• Proficiency in enterprise-scale software engineering and SDLC expertise.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, resiliency, security, and cloud-native development.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills, particularly in Agile frameworks.
• Ability to stay updated on and apply cutting-edge technologies and trends.

Pay Range: $70 - $80/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
