About the Role
We’re looking for a UX Content Designer to join a talented digital experience team that’s redefining how agents and representatives engage with customers across the insurance landscape. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to craft clear, engaging, and intuitive content for new digital sales tools.
This role directly supports a company-wide technology modernization initiative — enhancing agent productivity, satisfaction, and efficiency through human-centered content design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Engineers to deliver effective and accessible content for digital applications.
- Write microcopy and design information architecture and workflows that guide users through complex processes.
- Support multiple agile delivery squads, participating in daily standups and sprint planning sessions.
- Create, test, and refine content in Figma and other UX tools.
- Use research and data to continuously improve the clarity and impact of the user experience.
- Develop and maintain content guidelines, ensuring tone, style, and language consistency across touchpoints.
- Contribute to a strong content community of practice, sharing insights and promoting UX best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or content strategy for digital products or internal tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience writing for digital applications or tools — ideally in insurance, financial services, or healthcare.
- Experience with Figma and familiarity with agile development environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on complex enterprise applications or internal tools.
- Background in insurance, finance, or healthcare.
- Familiarity with content design methodologies, UX research, and content audits.
- Experience applying Agile, Lean UX, or Design Thinking principles.
