About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Application Developer / SharePoint Developer to join our client’s SharePoint Engineering team within a leading global financial services firm. The team is responsible for designing, building, and enhancing the SharePoint platform (On-Prem and Cloud) to support enterprise-wide collaboration and application hosting.

This is a hands-on developer role, requiring strong technical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint applications (On-Prem and Online).
• Migrate and integrate SharePoint environments to Office 365 and the cloud.
• Use C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS to build and enhance components, pages, and tools.
• Develop and manage infrastructure systems both on-premise and in the cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create APIs, tools, and services for easy deployment of critical applications.
• Troubleshoot OneDrive, SharePoint, and related connectivity or synchronization issues.
• Conduct user training and demonstrations of SharePoint features.
• Participate in Agile development cycles using tools like GitHub and Jira.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7–15 years of professional experience as an Application Developer / SharePoint Developer.
• Strong programming skills in C#, ASP.NET, and PowerShell.
• Proficiency with SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Prem, and OneDrive.
• Hands-on experience with Modern Authentication, Graph API, and Azure AD Applications.
• Experience developing web components using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology, SDLC, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Jira).
• Excellent communication skills — ability to interact effectively with business and technology leaders (MDs, EDs).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SharePoint migration projects.
• Knowledge of SQL programming.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Familiarity with financial services or banking domain.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies or SharePoint development.
