Qualifications or Skills:
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Knowledge of motors, exhaust, high & low voltage electricity.
- Mechanical Skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Ability to speak, read & write in English
- Ability to follow work instructions, and 5S standards.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or GED, Some Technical training in Maintenance preferred
Job Duties:
- Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the production floor and the entire facility to minimize downtime.
- Detects and reports defective machinery or questionable conditions to the department supervisor and designs plans to prioritize tasks.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs preventative maintenance on machinery building or grounds as required and prioritizes tasks and is held accountable for completion.
- Can effectively communicate all the above tasks to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Performs a daily walk thru to keep up with facility needs.
- Required to be knowledgeable with:
General Safety Lock-out Tag-out SDS Forklift Safety
Confined Space Required permits HAZMAT Fabrication
Washer Maintenance Preventable Maintenance Pipe Fitting Welding
- PPE must be worn
- Ensuring customer requirements are being met
- Responsible for 5S in Work Area
- Employee must adhere to all 5S and safety rules
- Required participation in semi-annual work reviews
- Employee must adhere to all ISO/IATF procedures and work instructions
- Perform All other Assigned Duties
