Pittsburgh Transportation Group is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Transportation Fleet Detailer to help maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness of our vehicle fleet. This overnight position plays a key role in ensuring our buses are clean, polished, and prepared for daily service.
Key Responsibilities of a Transportation Fleet Detailer:
- Wash, clean, and detail fleet vehicles to maintain a professional appearance
- Polish and detail both vehicle interiors and exteriors
- Perform minor cosmetic touch-ups and light bodywork as needed
- Apply and remove vehicle decals
- Assist in preparing vehicles for auction when required
- Monitor inventory levels and restock wash bay cleaning supplies
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, including wash bays and parking areas
- Support additional operational tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications of a Transportation Fleet Detailer:
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience
- Previous experience in vehicle detailing, fleet cleaning, or a related field preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- Hazardous materials cleaning certification is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Compensation
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Pay: $16.40 per hour
