The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all landscaping, janitorial, and maintenance operations across all Psynergy facilities. This role ensures that every property is safe, functional, and consistently maintained to the highest standards. The Facilities Manager develops and implements maintenance programs, supervises onsite and contracted staff, manages vendor relationships, and ensures compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements. Responsibilities and Duties:Tracks facility projects and documents progress.Completes monthly facility reports.Conducts regular facility inspections to identify needed repairs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local building codes, safety regulations, and health standards.Develops and maintains preventive maintenance schedules for buildings, equipment, and systems.Plans and oversees installation and maintenance of outdoor landscaping, including plants, sprinklers, structures, and fountains.Plans and oversees building maintenance activities such as plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, sheet rocking, roofing, flooring, and general structural repairs.Plans and oversees installation, maintenance, and replacement of mechanical units such as air conditioners, water heaters, laundry machines, and kitchen equipment.Coordinates and oversees facility-related projects, renovations, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Oversee facility safety programs, including fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, and disaster-readiness procedures.Hires, trains, schedules, and manages performance of facilities staff, including maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping personnel.Directs vendors providing landscaping, housekeeping, or maintenance services; ensure contract compliance and effective performance.Negotiates service agreements and evaluates vendor proposals when applicable.Controls and manages ordering of parts, equipment, and supplies for landscaping, housekeeping, and maintenance; compares costs to ensure high-quality, cost-effective purchasing decisions.Manage facility-related budgets and tracks expenditure; identifies cost-saving opportunities.Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, warranties, and equipment service logs.Oversees maintenance and safe operation of company vehicles.Responds to facility-related emergencies, including after-hours needs, and ensures timely resolution of urgent issues.Collaborates with clinical and administrative leadership to ensure facilities support client care and operational requirements.Implements sustainability and energy-efficiency practices when appropriate.Performs other related duties as assigned.Weekend and after-hours work may be required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Proven management and leadership experience.Ability to work hands‐on in daily maintenance operations.Experience supervising teams and crews.Project management experience with the ability to scope, plan, and execute projects.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Strong computer literacy and comfort with digital tools.General Contractor background preferred.Ability to follow instructions and read blueprints.Good knowledge of applicable regulations and laws.Ability to compare relative costs and benefits to determine the most appropriate action.Strong problem‐solving skills, including identifying, reviewing, and implementing solutions to complex issues.Capability to oversee multiple properties simultaneously.Ability to scope, plan, and execute projectsEducation and Experience:Education/Experience:Must be 18 years of age or older.3 years’ facilities management required.2 years’ supervisor experience required.Hands-on construction experience required.Strong computer literacy and comfort with digital toolsExperience in assisted living and behavioral health environments (hotels and apartment style properties acceptable)Certificates and Licenses: Certified First aid training from an accredited institution.General Contractor license preferred.
Salary : $92,000 - $110,000
