What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Psychotherapeutic Services Inc?
POSITION SUMMARY
- The Program Manager plans, organizes, supervises, directs, coordinates, and oversees both clinical and administrative functions of the day-to-day aspects of the program.
- He/she develops network of accessible services and assists his/her team in navigating this network to match each youth with the services deemed helpful to his/her individual situation.
- The Program Manager monitors the outcomes of these service efforts as an essential component of this Program.
- He/she is the liaison in subcontracting or partnering efforts within the greater community of service providers, non-profits and others in order to ensure adherence to a holistic approach with children and their families who may have complex and challenging needs across a broad range of issues.
- He/she is responsible for providing oversight and supervision of the multi-session classroom experience and the individual service plan process in concert with staff, parents, youth, DYRS and other appropriate community resources.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related field with course work specific to development of therapeutic counseling skills, plus two (2) years experience working with delinquent youth and their families in a community-based setting, (1) years supervisory experience.
