Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead our logistics operations and optimize warehouse performance. This role will oversee all aspects of warehouse functions, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, process improvement initiatives, and team supervision. Your leadership will ensure seamless supply chain operations, maximize efficiency, and uphold safety standards. Duties
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities, including order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and distribution processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Enforce OSHA Safety standards and maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse.
- Manage inventory control systems and oversee warehouse management system (WMS) operations to ensure accurate stock levels. Conduct audits, cycle counts, use FIFO-LIFO system.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiencies.
- Monitor KPI's, budgets & prepare data driven performance reports.
- Oversee freight logistics, shipping & receiving schedules, dispatching, and order fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with logistic suppliers and warehouse related vendors. Coordinate transportation planning and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and freight carriers.
- Lead, train and motivate warehouse staff by using performance goals and ensure safety compliance and productivity goals are met
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce waste. Implement process improvements using 5S principles to improve work flow and efficiency.
Experience
- 5 years proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or supply chain environment. Leadership experience overseeing teams involved in warehouse distribution, dispatching, fleet management, and materials handling
- Experience managing inventory control, demand planning, procurement, and production planning processes
- Experience with managing 3PL providers, freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures and contract negotiations.
- Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.
- Forklift certification
