Hours:

· 2nd & 3rd Shift openings

· Some weekends

· Mandatory overtime is required at times

Compensation for General Packing Operator:

· $16.00 2nd shift

· $16.75 3rd shift

· Temp-to-hire opportunity

Duties include:

• Operates all equipment in assigned areas (e.g.: Carton forming, bulk filling & packaging equipment, case packer & palletizer).

• Follows all plant safety and GMP regulations to ensure product safety, personal safety and the safety of others.

• Identifies and initiates corrective action on conditions in plant that could potentially affect safety.

• Performs quality checks per S.O.P.s

• Participates as effective team member by completing team assignments and meeting team accountabilities (e.g.: coaching, feedback, problem solving).

• Performs routine sanitation of line equipment, tools, materials and work area to ensure consistent compliance with GMPs.

• Accurately records and submits all operator documentation

• Effectively uses troubleshooting skills necessary to meet quality, efficiency and yield standards (eg: make proper adjustments to correct weight deviations).

• Performs daily preventative maintenance of line equipment to reduce downtime.

• Periodically required to work beyond assigned shift hours (e.g.: overtime, shift change) in order to meet business needs

• May be required to perform Team Profile tasks (e.g.: maintain open communication within & between teams, conduct team meetings & focus on team accountabilities).

• May be required to perform work related duties in other area of the plant.

• Performs other work related duties as assigned
