About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading, culturally relevant retail brand to identify a Social Media Analyst who will help shape how the brand shows up in conversation, community, and culture.
This is not a passive posting role. This is about presence—being in the comments, in the conversation, and in the moments that matter. You will serve as the voice of the brand in real time, building relationships, identifying trends, and translating social signals into meaningful insights.

What You’ll Own
Community & Conversation
- Act as the brand’s voice across social platforms—thoughtful, responsive, and culturally aware
- Engage daily within owned content and broader social conversations to build affinity and loyalty
- Foster relationships with superfans, creators, and emerging voices within the community
- Identify and participate in high-impact cultural and social moments with precision and relevance
Cultural Intelligence & Social Listening
- Monitor conversations, sentiment, and emerging trends across platforms
- Distill insights from social listening into clear, actionable recommendations
- Identify opportunities for content, storytelling, and brand participation in real time
Performance & Optimization
- Track engagement performance across owned and earned channels
- Analyze KPIs such as impressions, engagement, and interaction trends to inform strategy
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to continuously refine and elevate social impact
Collaboration
- Work closely with a high-performing social and marketing team to ensure brand consistency
- Support campaign execution and real-time engagement needs as they arise
What You Bring
- Experience in social media, community management, or digital marketing (internships included)
- Exceptional writing skills with a strong command of tone, nuance, and audience awareness
- Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and digital culture
- Ability to balance creativity with analytical thinking
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed
- A natural instinct for what a brand should—and should not—say

- Hybrid schedule with 1 day/week onsite in Manhattan, NY
- Flexibility required for evening and weekend engagement as social activity demands
