Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or higher in psychology
- North Carolina Psychology Board Certified
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Knowledge of child development, and behavior management
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to special education and student support services.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to the well-being of students.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement strategies to address students' needs and support their learning and well-being.
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and crisis intervention strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to evaluate students for special education eligibility and contribute to the development of IEPs.
