- U.S. citizenship is required, with ability to pass Public Trust investigations; security clearance is not necessary but may be client-dependent
- Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing custom AWS cloud solutions (not just standard deployments).
- Demonstrated expertise with NIST compliance and FedRAMP authorization for web-based/cloud applications—experience supporting FISMA and NIST 800 series controls is essential.
- Proven ability to operate at a senior, independent contributor level—must be able to create solutions from scratch, address unique technical challenges, and navigate strict regulatory frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills for working within complex government-imposed security/compliance constraints.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills—must work closely with diverse teams and explain compliance impacts.
