Overview

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor in Richland, WA.

This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).

Essential Functions And Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight to field work activities, including but not limited to the planning and execution of mechanical pipefitting/plumbing maintenance, repair, and/or installation work activities. They will ensure field personnel are compliant with company-mandated and other applicable policies, procedures, programs, and regulations including DOE directives, personnel safety, environmental compliance, and safety of the general public.

Under General Managerial Oversight

Supports planning and execution of corrective and preventative maintenance work activities.

Promotes a positive, safety-conscious, and collaborative work environment consistent with the HLMI mission, vision, and values, based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.

Implements ISMS, VPP, and EMS responsibilities in assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Provides leadership and oversight for ensuring the requisite level of conduct of operations, safety management program implementation, and compliance in the planning and execution of these

Plans/executes multiple, complex field activities with a demonstrated record of successful schedule execution.

Ensures work packages are technically correct and capable of being performed safely and efficiently.

Resolves work and safety issues to permit safe and efficient performance of work in the field.

Reviews and approves maintenance technical procedures (preventive maintenance); conduct field validation of technical procedures.

Provides status and communicates work scope at "Plan of the Day" and "Plan of the Week" meetings.

Resolves resource and schedule issues.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS degree in a related discipline and 8 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications

Previous experience with Bargaining Unit employees, nuclear facility experience, experience with Collective Bargain Agreements.

Extensive experience in repairing/maintaining industrial machinery, and piping systems.

Compensation

Grade 18: $106,663 - $134,588

Grade 19: $117,225 - $147,775

The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
