Job Description
The Data Steward Position supporting PCode Maintenance will be working within the JDE E1 system, as well as an existing web based portal, to assist with the data analysis and daily maintenance of Item Master information relative to PCode designation. The PCode is a financial reporting code that is maintained within the Item Master for every product code within the ERP system. Responsibilities include adherence to the approved business process and approval matrix, as well as running and processing changes per audit reports on PCode to keep information within systems in sync.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support project participation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Product Data Integrity Group team members on Data Standardization, Data Cleansing, and Data Quality
- Demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervision supporting all data research, preparation, entry, and validation
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience required
EXPERIENCE:
- Solid understanding of Master Data
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Solid work ethic, self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills
OTHER SKILLS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in JDE E1 or SAP
