Job Requirements
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships across the client organization.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance services and expand scope.
- Lead and facilitate client meetings and business reviews.
- Act as a subject matter expert in domestic transportation and logistics solutions.
- Stay informed on market trends and industry developments.
- Manage client projects from initiation through delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute solutions.
- Translate clients’ needs into actionable tasks and track progress.
- Identify and resolve operational issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution.
- Hold teams accountable to timelines and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver KPI reporting and insights.
- Conduct data analysis and validate accuracy.
- Develop client strategy playbooks and roadmaps.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with Carrier Relations on performance and optimization.
- Support carrier onboarding and routing guide management.
- Lead carrier RFPs and negotiations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain accurate client records across systems.
- Ensure all tasks and communications are documented.
- Identify and lead process improvements.
- Support training and department initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5-7 years in client success, account management or project management.
- Proven experience in transportation & logistics, business development, and project management.
- High-level understanding of Project Management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience utilizing business intelligence tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and CRMs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including listening, writing, presenting, and facilitating.
- Experience presenting to stakeholders and senior management.
- Client-focused with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Diplomatic, tactful, and composed under pressure
- Driven to continuously learn, problem-solve, and improve
