About the Role
We are seeking a Legal Operations & Litigation Support Manager to partner closely with the General Counsel and serve as the operational backbone of the legal department. This role is focused on legal operations, litigation support, and contract lifecycle management, ensuring the legal function runs efficiently and effectively as the company grows.
The position also supports privacy and compliance operations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) but does not serve as the strategic owner of information security or enterprise risk programs. Instead, this role partners cross-functionally with IT and security teams to coordinate legal and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate brings strong paralegal and legal operations experience, with the ability to manage litigation processes, support discovery, and administer contract systems in a fast-paced environment.
This role is required to be based in Miami, FL, due to close partnership with General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Operations & Contract Management
- Administer and optimize the company’s contract lifecycle management system (Ironclad)
- Manage legal intake workflows and track contract requests across the business
- Maintain centralized contract repository, renewal tracking, and contract reporting
- Develop and maintain legal department KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for leadership
- Manage outside counsel billing, budgets, and invoice review (e.g., SimpleLegal)
- Improve and standardize legal processes to increase efficiency and visibility
Litigation & Discovery Support
- Coordinate litigation matters in partnership with outside counsel
- Manage litigation hold processes and document preservation efforts
- Coordinate discovery collections with internal stakeholders (IT, HR, operations)
- Track litigation matters, deadlines, and key milestones
- Support dispute resolution, pre-litigation matters, and insurance claims
- Serve as primary internal coordinator for all litigation-related operational needs
Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) – Legal Support
- Support governance, risk, and compliance processes from a legal and operational perspective
- Maintain legal and compliance policy repository and track updates
- Coordinate legal aspects of internal and external audits, including documentation and responses
- Track regulatory obligations and support compliance reporting efforts
- Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements
Privacy & Data Protection (Operational Execution)
- Support and execute operational aspects of privacy compliance programs (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
- Draft, review, and manage Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
- Coordinate and manage data subject access requests (DSARs)
- Support data mapping and records of processing activities
- Conduct vendor privacy reviews and support privacy impact assessments
- Partner with legal and IT teams on privacy-related initiatives
Vendor Risk & Compliance Coordination
- Coordinate third-party risk management processes in partnership with IT and security teams
- Track vendor contractual compliance obligations and risk mitigation measures
- Support vendor onboarding from a legal and compliance perspective
- Assist with responses to customer and partner compliance/security questionnaires
- Ensure alignment between contractual requirements and vendor compliance practices
General Counsel & Leadership Support
- Support the General Counsel in regulatory, compliance, and risk-related initiatives
- Prepare materials, summaries, and reporting for leadership and board-level discussions
- Assist with cross-functional legal initiatives tied to company growth and expansion
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in legal operations, paralegal, or litigation support roles
- Strong experience managing litigation processes and coordinating discovery
- Experience with contract lifecycle management systems (Ironclad or similar)
- Experience managing outside counsel workflows and legal operations processes
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal certification
- Experience in a high-growth or operationally complex environment
- Experience supporting privacy or compliance programs
- Familiarity with legal and compliance tools (Ironclad, SimpleLegal, Relativity, OneTrust, etc.)

Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
