Position Summary
As a Construction Inspector Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to support construction oversight and community infrastructure projects in our Wall, NJ office. Your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting field inspections for building envelope, site, and structural projects
- Documenting construction progress through photos, notes, and daily reports
- Assisting with verification of contractor compliance with plans, specifications, and industry standards
- Supporting condition assessments of community association properties
- Helping prepare inspection summaries and technical documentation
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, architecture, and environmental disciplines
This role offers meaningful exposure to real world construction practices, client interaction, and the consulting industry.
Who We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates are:
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Detail oriented, organized, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors and on active construction sites
- Strong communicators with solid technical writing skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Possessing a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
No prior inspection experience is required—just curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to get hands on experience.
