What You’ll Do:
The HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the HR department including facilitating and managing employee relations, supporting payroll process and timecard management, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Position Overview
What You’ll Do:
The HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the HR department including facilitating and managing employee relations, supporting payroll process and timecard management, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists formal investigations of employee complaints. Recommends appropriate resolution and reviews with HR management when necessary.
- Corrective action review
- Conducts exit interviews in a timely manner, analyzes, and summarizes data periodically for leadership review.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists employees with payroll related issues as needed.
- Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; Rate changes, position movement, terminations.
- Assist in the execution of the Human Resources strategic plan in support of the overall business unit and corporate strategic direction.
- Work closely with general management to understand business issues and opportunities and assist them in developing and implementing HR initiatives to address those opportunities.
- Evaluates and edits policies/procedures as needed.
- Conducts HR metrics reporting
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Partner with HRBP Lead employee engagement initiatives.
- Supports the recruiting and interviewing processes and owns onboarding experience.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR practices.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least 3 years of human resource experience preferred.
- This role is based on-site at the Williamsport, PA manufacturing facility.
- Regular shop floor presence is required to build relationships and stay connected to operations.
- Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems.
- Extended periods of sitting or standing at a desk or workstation, completing repetitive tasks such as typing, which may require dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Will be required to sit, bend, kneel, squat, use a keyboard, read, write, and speak fluently.
- Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 5-10 pounds as needed.
- Industrial environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
