Overview
Machine Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as work in a safe manner following all safety policies and procedures. Performing setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment. Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work orders are also required.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Additional responsibilities include: Maintaining and logging all information required supporting traceability and quality, participating in cross-training activities, maintaining work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition, and performing other duties as required or directed.
Qualifications
Required:
Prior extrusion experience preferred Will be required to stand, walk, and bend frequently. Occasionally lifting < 10pounds as neededOccasionally required to lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed. Occasionally required to lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed. Frequently required to lift and carry objects of 30-50 pounds as needed. Occasionally required to push and pull reels.

Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma, GED
- 2 year manufacturing machine operation requirement
- Prior manufacturing experience with the ability to prioritize and pay close attention to detail
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, and bending is required
- Must be able to work independently and distinguish colors
- Must be able to use and read a micrometer
- The ability to demonstrate your mechanical and computer skills
- Must have good English skills in reading, writing and communicating
- Must be able to work in a team environment and to work overtime as the need arises
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test
- Prior extrusion experience preferred
- Wire drawing/extrusion/cabling experience
