The role at a glance

• Fabricate and assemble sub-units and finished products by positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding components
• Apply MIG, TIG, stick, and oxy/acetylene torch processes to meet engineering specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings; plan task sequences and verify requirements
• Lay out cut and bend lines, factoring in weld/machine shrinkage, material thickness, and tolerances
• Use measurement tools confidently; perform basic arithmetic for accurate fit-up
• Create and relay build instructions, documentation, and specifications for others
• Work to company safety procedures and OSHA requirements; perform other related duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proficiency in reading and writing English
• Preferred experience in industrial/manufacturing environments with machinery and components
• Understanding of metal properties and the appropriate fluxes and rods for various applications
• Ability to climb to overhead areas, work beneath machines, and operate in confined spaces
• Comfort working near high-voltage equipment and in high-heat conditions
• Capability to push, pull, or lift heavy parts with or without assistance
  
  

Working conditions

• Loud production environment with exposure to extreme temperatures; some outdoor work may be required
• Repetitive motions including kneeling, crouching, and stooping
• Regular use of hands for tools, controls, and material handling
• Lift up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting, or standing

Schedule & compensation

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• Hourly starting pay: $25/hr
