This role is an R&D‑focused leadership position managing a team performing highly technical electrical testing that supports product development, customer requirements, and North American product roadmaps.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the Marshall Technology Center electrical test lab, including staffing, scheduling, safety, and daily operations for a team of ~10 employees.

  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, capital expenditure proposals, and efficiency improvement targets.
  • Maintain and improve test equipment, lab infrastructure, and technical capabilities; oversee maintenance and calibration.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, service level, and documentation across all testing activities.
  • Oversee the SharePoint‑based database containing performance data for all medium‑voltage cables sold in North America; maintain data integrity and support future system migration.
  • Support R&D and product qualification activities, including CV line qualification and prototype testing.
  • Meet with customers and stakeholders visiting the facility; provide technical explanations and follow‑up as needed.
  • Prepare bi‑weekly progress updates, action plans, and performance reports.
  • Provide a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety procedures related to high‑voltage testing.

  • Familiarity with UL, CSA, and other testing governance standards.
  • Experience with LabView, SharePoint, PowerApps, workflow tools, or .NET programming.
  • Background in R&D, product qualification, or electrical test lab environments.
  • Experience working on various tasks and projects internationally.
