What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operations Manager position at PRx Wholesale?
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Operations by overseeing and directing warehouse daily production and order fulfillment including:
- Managing all activities required as the Certified Designated Representative (CDR) .
- Ensure order fullfillment is completed timely and accurately on a daily basis.
- Manage processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Implement continual process improvement initiatives
- Ability to resolve complex problems
- Assist in training and development of new employees
- Support internal teams such as Sales, Contracting, IT, to ensure customers needs are met and issues are resolved to completion.
- Monitor, track, and report out on warehouse activities, such as inventory, errors, warehouse equipment and safety
- Effectively manage associates by providing direction and resolving problems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry (i.e. pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, pharmaceutical distribution, pharmacy operations) OR certified as a CDR (Certified Designatid Representative)
- Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Good math skills for inventory counts and calculations
- Good problem solving skills- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or High School Diploma accepted with equivalent work experience
Preferred:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role
- knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
-Ability to stand and walk for for long periods of time
