Overview
Pruneyard Cinemas is a dine-in movie theater with a full kitchen and bar. We are looking for a dependable team member to support both dishwashing and basic food prep.
This is not a dish-only position. You will be actively involved in kitchen prep and service support.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to get their foot in the door in a kitchen and grow into a larger culinary role over time.
Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish and kitchen areas
- Assist with basic food prep (portioning, cutting, plating support)
- Help with prep for events and busy service periods
- Take out trash and maintain sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks
- Able to lift 40–50 lbs
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Preferred but not required:
- Previous experience in food service, restaurants, or hospitality
- Basic knowledge of food prep and sanitation practices
Schedule & Availability
- Evening shifts required
- Weekend availability required

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
