The Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) market is a growing and vibrant part of Prudential’s Retirement’s Retirement Strategies team. The PRT New Business & Client Transition team has an opportunity to expand their team in the role of Transition Manager.
The PRT Transition Manager supports the on-boarding of new PRT clients for the domestic Pension Risk Transfer market and serves a critical role contributing to the first impression that Prudential makes with new clients. The Transition Manager leads the on-boarding process and interacts extensively with any of the following: clients, intermediary advisors, and internal business partners.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence in Hartford, CT, Newark, NJ, Scranton, PA, on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. The hiring team is comfortable for the right talent to work remotely from anywhere in the US as well.

The salary range for this role is from $106,000.00 to $174,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

What You Can Expect
- Presenting and managing the on-boarding timeline with our external partners (client, advisors, prior recordkeepers, and actuaries) and internal partners (New Business, Marketing, Contracts, Pricing, PSC, PRU, Tax, etc.) to achieve a flawless transition
- Issues Welcome Kit packages to each retired and deferred annuitant which provides key pieces of information that an annuitant needs to begin their experience with Prudential
- Logging, tracking, and following open issues to resolution including confirming task owner and establishing target dates
- Partnering with Data Specialists on data needs and provision clarification for Technical Specialists and then communicating those needs to the client / broker for a successful on-boarding data load effort and creation of claims summary
- Obtaining CAR forms, W-9 forms, completing Schedule As, and other miscellaneous requirements from clients during the transition
- BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 Years of Experience with Retirement Products and/or relevant Project Management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
- Successful communication skills / comfortable interacting with clients at various levels
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Discretion to deal with confidential information
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing projects and deliverables
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and challenging environment
