Mechanical Engineer – EIT or PE
Location: Dallas or Houston, TX
Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site
Experience: 5–7 years preferred
License: Texas EIT or PE required
A candidate with 5–7 years of relevant experience and a Texas PE is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination.
- Texas Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 5–7 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in an MEP consulting environment.
- Experience designing MEP systems for K–12 schools, colleges, universities, or other commercial facilities.
- Experience with HVAC systems, temperature controls, central plant design, and indoor air quality.
- Strong knowledge of applicable building and mechanical codes.
