Role: Facilities / Building Maintenance Engineer - II
Location: League City, TX – Fully onsite **(LOCALs Preferred)
Direct hire (Full time )
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine operational maintenance on equipment, including start-up and shutdown procedures.
- Evaluate and resolve any arising problems, with assistance and/or supervision as needed.
- Conduct lighting inspections, manage inventory of bulbs, change bulbs, and request assistance for ballast replacements.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and miscellaneous issues.
- Respond to maintenance duties/work orders as they occur on the premises.
- Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment as assigned.
- Demonstrate on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis and assist in storm preparation.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three years of experience in a related field.
- Clean driver’s license.
- Ability to respond to emergency alarms for fire and security during both regular business hours and after hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Third grade engineer license.
- Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT) designation or equivalent.
- Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) designation or equivalent.
