Production Patternmaker

Join a fast-paced, design-driven apparel company where precision meets creativity. We’re looking for a skilled Production Patternmaker to bring technical excellence and artistry to our clients team. In this role, you’ll transform design concepts into perfectly fitted, production-ready garments that uphold our brand’s quality and craftsmanship standards.

You’ll work closely with Product Development, Technical Design, and Production teams to ensure every pattern supports a flawless fit, smooth construction, and efficient production flow. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for translating design ideas into reality.

RESPONSIBILITES 

• Develop and finalize accurate, production-ready patterns based on sketches, specs, and fit standards
• Conduct fit evaluations and make adjustments following sample reviews and fit sessions
• Grade patterns across multiple size ranges with consistency and precision
• Collaborate with design and technical teams to align patterns with brand fit standards
• Communicate clearly with domestic and overseas factories regarding pattern changes and technical details
• Maintain digital pattern libraries, manage version control, and prepare final files for production
• Troubleshoot and resolve fit, construction, and manufacturing challenges proactively
• Ensure all patterns meet cost, quality, and timeline expectations

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or related field
• 5 years of patternmaking experience in an apparel production environment
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit standards, and manufacturing processes
• Hands-on experience with both woven and knit categories
• Proficiency in Gerber, Tuka, or other patternmaking CAD systems
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Experience partnering with factories and vendors, both domestic and international
