Overview: We are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to perform compensation and pension evaluations for veterans. This is a flexible opportunity that allows you to help our nation's veterans while working with a professional, growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Compensation and Pension Examinations for veterans.
- Review medical records using a cloud-based EHR.
- Perform physical assessments based on specific disability claims, which may require extensive charting.
- Submit examination results through an online portal for VA review.
- Exams are conducted at approved facilities with the necessary equipment and internet access.
- If you have your own practice, you can integrate these exams into your existing schedule.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants.
- Minimum of two years NP/PA experience, with prior VA work preferred.
- Flexible schedule availability, ideally 4 to 7 days per month. Some locations may offer full-time opportunities.
- Reside within 30 miles of the job location.
