This is a full-time, on-site position located in Wichita, KS, for a Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. The role involves providing exceptional patient care in a primary care and/or urgent care setting. Responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing patient conditions, creating treatment plans, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver a high standard of medical care. The practitioner will also engage in patient education to promote health and prevent disease.
- Experience and proficiency in Nurse Practitioners and Nursing practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Primary Care and Medicine.
- Skills and familiarity with treating patients in Urgent Care settings.
- Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Current and valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Kansas.
- Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
- 3 years of clinical experience is preferred but not required.
